Ross is a walking, talking encyclopedia of everything related to the internet but specializes in Shopping carts, ecommerce and web design. Recurring speaker for IRCE and winner of Webby awards, Ross now offers perfected chunks of wisdom as the author of How to Make a SOW Without Having a COW.
Ross serves as an educator and translator for all things web. If it lives online and it’s giving you trouble, chances are Ross can help. Ross’s highly specialized understanding of websites was finely tuned during his years as the founder of Kiss Computing. The thriving web development company got its start in the early 90’s, well before people thought anyone could truly make a living at it. His knack for problem solving & leadership, paired with his deep understanding of the web, led him to a booming business with just under 100 employees and a 12 month long waiting list. After just 10 years, Ross took the chance to retire early in 2005, selling Kiss Computing and its component parts before moving to Maine to settle down.
It was only a short time until Ross came to the realization that he was not cut out for retirement and, before long, this elite entrepreneur was back in the pilot’s seat and flying again. In 2007 he created a new labor of love, The Internet Educator, where he successfully established a widely endorsed, educational launch pad to help “enlighten” entrepreneurs to the ways of the web. By sharing the fundamental principles and building blocks entrepreneurs need most, Ross has helped countless businesses avoid costly & painful mistakes on website builds, generated over 100 million dollars in sales for his clients and provided much needed business engineering principles, processes and structural healing in the form of projects, books, videos, speaking engagements and free educational materials.
In 2013 Ross started having problems with his spine. In 2016 Ross started using a wheelchair. Over the course of several years his nerve function decreased and he is now permanently disabled.
In 2018 The Internet Educator, Inc. was closed. All of the articles were moved over to RossLasley.com.
Ross is now the KhenRinpoche of Ross Lasley Academy.
