A moving picture is worth..

Reasonably described as the latest Internet phenomenon online video really took off in 2006. The technology has been around for quite some time but it was the folks willing to host this high bandwidth content for free that really got things going.

People like expressing themselves this way and I'd strongly encourage you to try it. An inexpensive web cam can be had for under $100 and setting up your own account at YouTube is free.
